Originally from Siler City, NC, Jason Lyle Garrett studied theatre arts at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC before receiving both a M.A. and Ph.D. in Communication/Cinema Studies from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. He currently resides with his wife and children in Campbellsville, KY where he teaches film studies and film production for Campbellsville University.
