I am a professional film maker, photographer and social marketer based in Canada. Recent work has focused on authentic storytelling around environmental issues, culture and community. Immersive multi-platform campaigns that have driven not only awareness, but action. These range from the hyper-local (preserving Ontario prime farmland and raising awareness around Toronto's urban parklands) to broader national or global initiatives. I split my time between working with cameras of all sorts on projects big and small, and consulting with a number clients and not-for-profits on an ongoing basis.
I've been lucky enough to have worked and traveled in over 100 countries, including some of the most austere and remote locations on the planet ranging from the Tibetan Himalaya to the deserts of Iraq. My film work has aired on NBC, CBS and other major networks and my print work has been published in different parts of the world. I've photographed and directed campaigns on behalf of Canada Tourism, Patagonia and lots of other great brands and organizations.
The familiar environs of Southern Ontario have become a focus for a great deal of my recent work. I am most proud of the projects I have undertaken independently with the hope of solving some of the pressing environmental problems that affect me directly.
