MEDIA RELATIONS DIRECTOR October 2011 – Current

o Media: Write game notes, game recaps, and press releases; Coordinate interviews for TV, Radio, and Newspapers across the country; Manage interviews for elite basketball figures (Spud Webb, Nancy Lieberman, Donnie Nelson, Del Harris, David Wesley, Sam Perkins, Greg Ostertag); Step in as Color Analyst for Texas Legends game broadcast in top 5 media market; Write and read voice-over for NBA post-game highlights

o Leadership: Executive produce a sports broadcast in a top 5 media market; Oversee 10-person broadcast team; Train and develop interns for production assistant, stats, and utility roles; Manage the ordering of broadcast equipment, storage, and payment for personnel

o Video Production: Shoot, edit, and produce commercials for Texas Legends; Conceptualize and create advertising videos for corporate sponsors; Generate videos for in-game entertainment; Create web-exclusive videos for NBA website and social media

o Graphic Design: Design posters, profile pictures, and advertising promotions for NBA website, social media, and marketing

o Social Media: Expand Facebook and social media presence; Currently - Facebook Post Feedback up 211%, “New Likes” by 55%, and Post Views up 422% resulting in the fastest growing Facebook page in the NBA D-League since October 2011
