Last day and act of the annual jazz festival in Kiama. As usual the program always seems to run late and the band has to drop a few numbers from the set. The audience numbers diminish as they head back to Sydney in the daylight hours. Little did they know what jazz treats they missed.
Jazz Connection
Jazz Connection is part of the Sydney Youth Jazz Ensemble Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to the provision of high quality education and training in jazz for youth, under the musical direction of Judy Bailey, a Sydney jazz icon in her own right.
These young jazz musicians range in age from 15 to 24 and are drawn from throughout the Sydney region, most attending the Sydney Conservatorium Of Music.
