James Baker
I am a designer, filmmaker and illustrator based in London. My work uses a variety of approaches and has been screened at international events, including The London International Animation Festival, The London Short Film Festival and Pictoplasma.
My work is particularly influenced by mathematical and esoteric imagery, early cinema, puppetry and mime. Some of my favourite filmmakers are Segundo de Chomon, Melies, Yuri Norstein, Karel Zeman and Nobuhiko Obayashi.
