My passion for music has grown over time. As a preteen, I was awestruck by the scene in Back to the Future where Michael J. Fox played “Johnny B. Good” and scared the audience with his face-melting guitar solo. I became determined to buy my own guitar, so I washed cars, mowed lawns, delivered papers, chopped wood and eventually I got my hands on a beginner electric guitar. I also started singing in the children’s choir at church and even got the lead role in a church musical. Through the years I played in various bands at high school, church, and college. Meanwhile, I wrote my own music, played some live shows, and recorded a few demos. All of this ended up being good practice for starting a music career.
