Visuals have always been my first love. Being an editor and videographer encapsulates all that I am passionate about: using visuals and audio to tell compelling stories which engage and compel viewers to react positively. To reach this point, a good editor must be articulate, patient, highly organized and willing to think outside the box.
I continually strive for experiences which bring me closer to realizing my goal of becoming a full-time editor. During my graduate studies, it was an internship with the Chicago Tribune's electronic news department that led me to discovering my passion for editing. Prior to my graduate studies, I lived in several Asian countries while studying Mandarin, teaching English as a Second Language and worked in Los Angeles and Chicago on several major film productions.
