I cut my teeth at Second City in Chicago—my hometown—before heading to the University Southern California, where I entered the prestigious BFA program in drama and also studied film.
Since that time, I have produced, written, directed and starred in upwards of 50 short films, the latest of which appear on this site. I have worked as a professional actor/comedian involved in sketch, stand-up and improv for the last 10 years, improvising with Robin Williams at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood in 2006. In 2003, I was flown out to audition for Saturday Night Live as a finalist cast member for the SNL 2004 season. In addition to my live performance work and the creation of my own short comedic films, I have also crafted a dozen feature film scripts, one of which I sold to a studio and is soon to enter pre-production.
In 2007, I was hired to write, produce and star in a network television comedy special called the “Jeremy Saville Comedy Hour” on Wealth TV; the show was broadcast in August of 2007. Also this year, I have done a number of voice-overs for video games, playing the lead characters in a wide range of games, ranging from a British nobleman to an alien space creature. More of my voice-over work was featured on the hit ABC series “NYPD Blue.”
Currently I'm working on producing a feature film called "The Test", and the production of a television show, “Cinema Saville,” which will feature high end shorts like the ones you'll see here. Call this a test run. And let me know what you think Together we can do it. Please check the Blog as I'll be blogging away like a madman about some of the more crucial elements I'm passionate about. Thanks for coming.
