Jess Loudon is an Aussie actress who recently graduated from the prestigious Conservatory Program at Atlantic Theatre Company in NYC. Jess has also trained with the Old Vic Theatre Company as part of their Old Vic New Voices Program and with internationally renowned casting director, Tom McSweeney of McSweeney Newman Productions. She has performed extensively in theatre both in Australia and off-Broadway and has been a proud member of Equity since 2002. In 2014, Jess has been a full-time ensemble member of the Grin and Tonic Theatre Troupe - she has toured extensively in NSW and QLD in Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and Othello.
Her NYC stage credits include BELGRADE TRILOGY (Whitelisted Theatre Company), THIS IS FOR YOU (The Bower Group), COMEDY OF ERRORS (EBE Ensemble), IONESCO'S RHINOCEROS (Atlantic Stage 2). In 2011, Jess was asked to reprise her role of Soleil from the critically-acclaimed, sold-out Australian season of Matt Morillo's ANGRY YOUNG WOMEN IN LOW RISE JEANS WITH HIGH CLASS ISSUES with members of the original NYC cast off-Broadway.
Her Australian stage credits include FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS (Mixed Company), THE REUNION (Metro Independents), HOLLOW CROSSING (Markwell Presents), RISK (Umber Productions), ALICE (Harvest Rain), DEAD SHE SCROLLS (She Said Productions). In 2006, Jess performed as Hermione from THE WINTER'S TALE in the VIII WORLD SHAKESPEARE CONGRESS in Australia as part of Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble's production of SHAKESPEARE'S BRIEFS. And in 2007, Jess won a Del Arte award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Jane Austen in Harvest Rain's I WANT TO BE IN A JANE AUSTEN NOVEL.
