John F. O’Donnell performs stand up comedy from the depths of his desperate soul. He synthesizes vulnerability and absurdity into something truly original and special. John is a frequent guest on the hugely popular Keith and the Girl podcast, where he won the KATGuh Award for BEST NEW GUEST of 2010. He has been featured as one of Comedy Central’s Fresh Faces of Comedy. He has been nominated for an ECNY award in the category of Best Emerging NYC Comic. He has been a featured performer at The Bridgetown Comedy Festival, The New Orleans Comedy Arts Festival, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In New York City, John hosted a legendary weekly live comedy show called The KINGDOM OF HEAVEN with his buddy, Timmy Williams, from IFC’s The Whitest Kids U’ Know for two years. He also produced a live ongoing comedy event called INTO THE WILD: A COMEDY MIND BEND at The Studio @ Webster Hall in association with Atlantic Pictures. John currently co-produces an annual show called FIFTY FIRST JOKES, which has been nominated for an ECNY Award in the category of Best Variety Show and Best Comedy Event. He has been featured on College Humor and he has co-headlined NYC’s Comix Comedy Club, Seattle’s Comedy Underground, and Austin’s New Movement Theatre. His stand up comedy EPs ‘Live From Outer Space’ Volumes One, Two, Three and Four have become an underground sensation with downloads coming from all over the world. He was recently a script consultant for the Metacafe Web Series ‘Trending Topics’ and he currently freelances with Vaguely Qualified Productions. He also just finished shooting an original television pilot that he wrote and stars in called COMEDY TRAFFIC SCHOOL. John F.
