Jacqueline Hoang Nguyen
Jacqueline Hoang Nguyen aims to reveal in her artistic practice the unnoticed political relevance of seemingly innocent anecdotes by shedding a novel light on trivial stories. Ms. Nguyen uses predominately sound, video, printmaking and photography. She is currently a fellow at the Whitney Independent Study Studio Program and received her Masters of Fine Arts and diploma in Critical Studies at the Malmö Art Academy. Amongst selected exhibitions, she has shown at Gasworks (2010); Pictura Gallery/Skånska Konstmuseum (2009); Cranbrook Museum (2008); Rooseum Museum of Contemporary Art (2005); and the Living Art Museum (2004) amongst other international institutions.
