I have a passion for Art and Music, and recently started to blend those passions along with video and photography.

I majored in business at college, but took film and photography courses on the side. In Late 70's bought my first VHS camcorder and a Pentax still camera and developed my own photos.

Early 80s, I moved to Sweden, took a job at a Hollywood film and video distributorship. After 5 years I moved back to the USA and left the industry.

Soon after that, I bought a new camcorder which actually used a vidicon tube, popular in the mid to late 1980s. Video camera tubes or pickup tubes were used instead of a Charged Coupled Devices (CCD) or the new CMOS or MOS sensors.

After the birth of my daughter, I started to use early model point and shoot digital cameras. In 2001, I bought a Panasonic MiniDV video camera, NV-MX3000, Japanese version, what a fine camera. I also went through several still cameras models, settling on a Canon 40D and have taken thousands of stills.

I enjoy technical stuff and liked working with people. I got editing software and began doing some event videography which requires a combination of technical and people skills. I am just getting into serious videography and photography and enjoying it. I hope to post more pictures and video in the near future.
