Julie Lazar
At present, I am an independent curator of all contemporary art disciplines, and founding director of International Contemporary Arts Network. At The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, I served as a founding curator from 1981 - 1997 and then was appointed Director of Experimental Programs through 2000. For the past 11 years, I have curated or organized an array of commissioned programs and exhibitions. In New York, I've held key administrative positions responsible for securing institutional funding for: Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Museum of Modern Art, Rockefeller University, The Hudson River Museum and P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center/MoMA. Currently, I'm producing k-pst.org.
