Jason Michael Aragón has been involved in production as videographer and editor for over a decade. He graduated from the University of Arizona Media Arts program and went into local television, where he became a studio and technical director. In 2004, he joined the video collective, Pan Left productions. At Pan Left he has produced independent videos, and also designed and taught workshops in pre-production, production and editing.

His 2006 short documentary PRESENTE was a finalist in the Arizona International Film Festival and his 2008 short Palestine En Solidaridad was accepted into SXSWclick Fest and the AFI Film Festival. Aragón was awarded the NALAC artist award in 2010 and a co-grantee of the 2011 MAP fund. His feature length documentary is in post-production and set to be screened in 2012.

He continues to produce videos that capture the life and culture along the border region.
