I had the privilege to grow up in many countries such as Brasil, France, Germany, Paraguay, UK and Japan. This allowed me to travel extensively, learn from and about different cultures, as well as to speak a few languages.
Since I was very young I loved watching films. My main education came from Cinema. Having difficulties expressing myself, I developed my own visual world.
I started making videos when I bought my first Sony Hi 8 camera, I was 15 back then.
I moved to London 13 years ago. I graduated from Goldsmith College with a degree in Fine Arts in 2002 making photography and experimental videos. After graduating, I worked as a creative at McCann Eriksson and then making corporate videos for communication companies such as Not Actual Size, Munro and Foster and Raymond Loewy and AMVBBDO.
IDORU is my third short. I wrote, co-produced, directed and I play in it.
Now I have moved back to Brasil.
