During his ten years in post-production Joe Shapiro has edited five independent features. Of those, four have won awards, three won top honors, two were in competition at Sundance, and one (Zoo) was in Directors' Fortnight at Cannes. His editing has been praised by Scott Foundas of Variety and both James Greenberg and Kirk Honeycutt of The Hollywood Reporter.

Like all good editors, Joe has a passion for story. Unlike most, he loves being on set. He has directed several award-winning shorts and is actively seeking a story or screenwriter to pen his first feature. Charlie Kaufman, Zach Helm, are your ears burning?
