John Henion Plus
John Henion is a San Francisco and LA-based documentary Filmmaker. Since 2009 he has been a producer, director and cinematographer for the Vanguard documentary series on Current TV.
John received the 2010 Livingston Award for Young Journalists – the largest all-media, general-reporting prizes in the country – for his work producing the Vanguard episode, Rape on the Reservation.
John has also produced, written, shot and/or edited a range of independent and commercial work. Some of his past clients have included Bank of America, the University of Michigan, Sony Entertainment, Salon.com and EA Sports.
In his spare time John really enjoys writing about himself in the third person.
