Johnny Rivera was born and raised in the Lower East Side of New York City. As a Puerto Rican in New York, he quickly learned he would have to be determined and diligent to help his family live a better life. Johnny is a recent Year Up NYC Class 6 graduate, who has developed a professional attitude and passion for learning. He interned at UBS Investment Bank, where he strengthened his skills in project management, report management, data analysis, and more. After graduating Johnny has been working part-time and has developed his own unique system with Prosperity Marketing. His goals for 2010 include: eating healthy, starting at least one or two college courses in the Fall of 2010, and helping to spread awareness for Year Up NYC, Generation Xcel, SSBx, and third world countries.
