Hello everyone, I am Jonathan Potter. I am a college student in my senior year in Computer Information Technology specializing in Computer Networking and Security. I currently am working for two churches which give me weekly video/audio editing skills for maintaining their websites. I am also working for Champlain College Computer Helpdesk, where I gain much troubleshooting and phone support experience. I spend most of my time working for Saint Johnsbury Academy High School, where I work on their various IT projects and servers. Just this semester I was asked back for the third time to Cathedral Square Corporation. I now work part time for them assisting their current IT staff, where I get a lot of hands on experience of server system upgrades and discussions in how the company can make better use of their IT department and exploring ways of reducing costs.
Aside from all that I really love to learn about computers and hear about new cutting edge technology and try it out. My friends will tell you I love to eat and talk to them in such an environment. I also love to drive, I don’t really mind the weather when I drive, I just turn on the radio and go.
My future goal is after working another year or two is to go and get a Masters degree in something relating to Information Technology. I would be really happy if I could do this in an environment with friendly people and computers around me.
