I tried several exports and restricting the data rate to 5000 yields similar results to what I'm seeing on Vimeo with significant swaths of blocked pixels morphing around. I don't know what the best setting translates to in kbytes/sec, but perhaps vimeo is restricting to 5000 and that's what I'm seeing? I don't get it though cuz I see other time lapses look much sharper and I'm able to output a .mov file that looks that sharp, but I'm unable to get it up on Vimeo. Something is off....

I've been using the automatic compressor rate set to Best instead of restricting the data rate lately. Could that be a factor?

It is. There is just a huge difference that I wonder if there's something wrong with my export settings and that's what's causing it on the vimeo end.

I was pretty sure that's it. I'm not seeing the notification though. It's one of those, if it was a snake it would have bit me things I'm sure. But I don't see it. Help a blind guy out? Where is it?
