Jose Saenz is a designer, illustrator and film maker. He graduated in 2002 from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, securing multiple honors and was the recipient of the prestigious Student Gold ADDY award. Upon graduation, Jose was selected among numerous candidates as the lead illustrator for a new and innovative children’s theme park, Wannado City™ in South Florida. During his career at Wannado he played a vital role within the design team in creating the new attraction: from conceptualizing to art directing the fabrication of major park landmarks, Mr. Saenz led in all facets of the theming and production pipeline. During the past decade as an illustrator and designer, he has been actively involved in the advertising and animation industries as an animation artist for television, feature films and the web. Jose’s work has also been nationally recognized with his colorful depiction of latin culture in digital media, selected by Dr. Pepper for its ‘Sabrosura’ marketing tour.
