Jo Vermaercke
Jo Vermaercke started his career as a freelance cameraman in 1989.
He was filming the fall of the Berlin Wall, the burning oil wells in Kuwait, the crisis in Rwanda and many other events that marked our history.
In 1991 he attended a steadicam workshop with Ted Chruchill and Andy Shuttleworth. Shortly after he became a fulltime owner-operator.
