Yes, the Gentled Auto Intervalometer sends an infrared signal to the NEX camera, which works very well. The only thing which needs some practice is to set the intervalometer to it's desired interval.

I was wondering how you'd go about triggering a NEX camera to do timelapse. Its via infared? Does it work well in practice?
