Justin Bates

Justin Bates, is a freelance Creative Director and Visual Effects Supervisor who has produced high-end CGI for a variety of clients including, Adidas, Ford, Gillette, Sky Sports, BSkyB and Tiger Beer amongst many others.
His passion of 3D and belief in creating exceptional visual effects is always evident in his work. His implementation of a diverse range of knowledge and skills, enables him to fulfill the demands of the high pressured media environment.
His creative expertise has become an integral element at Sky Creative, which forms part of the digital satellite broadcaster and industry giant, British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB).
Justin’s achievements across broadcast, sponsorship and commercial work continues to advocate the latest in design and branding across a multitude of Sky’s entertainment channels. Some of the key roles undertaken by him on a daily basis, are supervising on set, art directing and leading the visual effects teams through the post production process.
Justin’s renowned design work can be seen across the globe, including his celebrated and award winning, Premier League Football Title sequence on Sky Sports.
Over the last 8 years Justin’s work has been recognised by The Royal Television Society and most notably received, 9 Gold Promax / BDA Europe and Promax / BDA International awards.
Recently Justin has presented his work on behalf of Maxon LTD, (makers of 3D software Cinema 4D), during the National Association of Broadcasters conference in Las Vegas.
