JW Cortes
J.W. CORTES is an actor, writer, filmmaker, activist from Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Earlier this year he marked his directorial debut with the film "Conscientious Objector" a story inspired by his 2003 tour of combat in Iraq as a US Marine.
JW most recently appeared in the new off-broadway musical "Soldiers Song" directed by Angelica Torn of The Actors Studios. He can be seen in various upcoming projects to include the feature film "Blue Caprice" directed by Alexandre Moors (Kanye West - Runaway), and the 2011 Woodstock Film Festival premiered music video for Sarah Fimm's new single "Everything Becomes Whole."
