Kalishakti/Pooja Pant is a media artist and activist skilled in video, radio and photography. She was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal but being a nomadic world traveller she has lived in India, US, Greece, Ireland, the UK and presently lives in Amsterdam where together with Vivian Wenli Lin she co-founded Voices Of Women Media. Trained by Martin Travers as a visual artist she is now a Director and editor on various short documentaries and music videos. Travelling the earth, utilising her skills to empower people and document the stories of the people whose stories are often silenced is her passion. Good people, good food, good music, and good vibes is her life source. Creativity is the most important and fighting injustice in every little form that exists in this planet is her goal!
