Kang Minsoo was born 1974 in Seoul, Korea. He obtained a BFA from Hongik University School of Art in 2001. While at college, He was attracted by computer graphics and video art. After graduation, He has worked for visual effects post-production as a matte painter and digital Compositor for entertainment industry (Motion pictures, commercials, trailers, music videos)
He returned to artistic activities since 2008. He participates in International artist residency programs and group exhibitions for the present. As an artist, he focuses on society’s proclivity for attributing value to something without thinking.
