Hi,
I got an invitation from Mike Jones to join his Kite Aerial Video (KAV) group the other day, so I had to sign up to Vimeo first.
Born in the sixties near Amsterdam I spent most of my childhood in a region where lots of water and wind was available to fool around with. Especially kite flying and fishing were my favorites.
Later on radio was added and more or less replaced the other hobbies mentioned. But some years ago I got interested in using kites to loft antennas for shortwave communications. Not much later I also found out that a bunch of lunatics used kites to loft cameras to make aerial pictures. Shortly after that I joined them in the persuit to shoot our surroundings from above.
