Karen Le Roy Harris is a contemporary fine artist currently practising in Jersey, Channel Islands. Her practice incorporates drawing, sculpture, photography and installation. Although there are varying strands to her practice, each medium is integral and each informs the others; Karen often sculpts her initial ideas which she will then photograph and draw. Her work explores themes surrounding the body and looks for contradictions which evoke mixed feelings of beauty and abjection.
