Strongly influenced by the aura of unrefined truth, medium/materiality becomes second nature in my work to display moments of density and development within the intimately complex role of human experience.
I continually look for interrelations, simple aesthetics and gesture within the figure through the use of sculpture, video documentation, and photography. The sensory explorations brought by sculpture and metalwork keep me stimulated to create while feeling the life that lives in materiality. Aside from a strong addiction to visual effects and digital manipulation, photography and video as a medium, allow me to capture the varying depths from the subjective to the objective. These shifting perspectives and correlating dimensions reveal growth within the imagination that I can apply to my artwork.
