As an artist my flagship body of work is called The Home Video Series. Since 2005 I have been collaborating with my family making experimental Home Video. We perform for the camera and we talk from behind it. We want to remembered this way.
Beginning with an understanding of family as verb, we consider ways to frame, perform and record that doing and the greater meaning behind it. This is a cumulative work, a series. Each video makes a different statement about who we are as individuals and as a family, and somewhere between them all lies a blurry outline of a life. Below is an index of works:
The Home Video Series:
1. Home and Away (with mum) (2006)
2. Home and Away (with dad) (2007)
3. Gardener’s World (2006)
4. The Changing of the Guards (2007)
5. See-Saw (2007)
6. Family Name (2007)
7. Reunion (2009)
8. My Wonderland (2010)
9. My Dad the Fisherman (2010)
10. Battle For Stardom (2011)
