Katie was born and raised in West Virginia. She currently lives in Melbourne, Australia, after graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2009 with a degree in Film & Television Production. Fascinated with the art of filmmaking from a young age, Katie has participated in numerous forms of production over the years. In 2004, she directed and edited the short fantasy film, “Spoons,” followed shortly by the similarly fantastical “Strings,” in 2005. During her 2008 semester in Dublin, Ireland, Katie directed two music videos for the Irish band, Super Extra Bonus Party, for their songs, “Super Noise” and “Radar.” Later that year, she co-founded Cows Lane Productions, a New York-based film company. From simple projects to larger films, Katie brings her enthusiasm and creativity to every production.
