I was always very good at drawing which served me well during a turbulent childhood. As a shy kid I loved 90’s cartoons, music and was exposed to films of all genres. Idolising artists like Bruce Lee I admired how even in death one can still be a positive influence on the world, I wanted to do the same. I decided to take art seriously after completing my G.C.S.E’s going onto study Art & Design and photography at Brentside Arts College for 3 years. After completing the course I took a year out and enrolled at Thames Valley University (UK) graduating from Ba Hons Digital Art with Animation 2:1. Since graduating I have been dedicated to developing my portfolio and stepping outside my creative box. I have freelanced for a small TV producer and design store AD clothing and produced various commissioned portrait art. I have also created a personal commercial identity through emblem iconography which stretches over various formats. I’m now a part-time freelance/commission graphic designer & animator.
I've been involved in the art, photography and film scene for a number of years, my achievements include winning finalist in the 2006 Nationwide Mercury Prize art competition, Bronze medallist in the UK Skills art advanced Challenge 2007 and best film poster winner in the Odeon Short Film competition 2009. Recently a selection of my art was published for the first time in a new hardcover book called 'Virtuoso' a showcase of talented artists from around the world. I have exhibited work widely around the UK including The National Film Theatre in London, The Trocadero in London, The Hospital Gallery in Covent Garden, Light House Gallery in Wolverhampton, Pitshanger Manor Gallery in Ealing and Ada street gallery in Bethnal Green, London.
As a digital artist and animator I have reached a creative turning point in my life and plan on making original art for the rest of my days. I want my digital art to touch elements that have never been touched on before. My ambition is to move into the creative industry and push my creativity further.
