My explorations manifest from my incoherent unjustifiable inclinations toward a subject, but the process of turning those habits into a structured form through cinematic gesture is one of internal coercion of story and feeling. I am fully aware of my story but not its outcome. My feelings are my only rationale. Not knowing an outcome or a unifying process other than the reliance of editing, is one of the many facets of meaning that I inscribe to my subject.
I do not agree with the notion of the artist as servant for creative social indoctrination. For me, creativity is personal and the quest for meaning is a private one. The biggest challenge is transforming a fluctuating and unruly structure through intent and with the soul--in that allowing a transparency of universal themes that inspire and affect others.
My aspirations for the future hinge on my drive to create immersive cerebral illusions that will perhaps fool those who allow themselves, on occasion, the transcendence of time based media.
