With 21 years of experience as a Director of Photography/Cinematographer,
Kelly is internationally experienced in production of documentary, broadcast
series, sports/news/lifestyle, commercial and corporate production.
Specializing in tourism work, Kelly has worked with Tourism British Columbia,
the Canadian Tourism Commission, Travel Alberta and NWT Tourism.
Creative and deeply passionate about his work, award winning DP Kelly is
known as one of Canada’s premiere tourism specialists. Kelly's unique and
well rounded skill set has taken him around the globe where his dedicated
work ethic and highly respected documentary reputation has engaged and
impressed a wide variety of clients such as National Geographic, BBC, PBS,
Discovery Channel International, TLC, and A&E. Since 2007, Kelly has been
nominated a total of 23 times for Best Cinematography Awards with the
Canadian Society of Cinematographers and the Alberta Motion Picture
Industry Association, taking home Best Cinematography in 2008 and 2009 for
his work with Tourism British Columbia.
