Kelly Richardson
Kelly Richardson is a UK based Canadian artist whose work explores simultaneity, affect and the use of cinematic language to create part real/part imagined landscapes, offering visual metaphors for our modern 'reality'; a wavering hybrid of fact and fiction.
Significant exhibitions include the Albright-Knox (2011), Sundance Film Festival (2009 and 2011), Art Gallery of Ontario (2010), Beijing 798 Biennale (2009), Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal (2009), Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (2008), Busan Biennale (2008), Gwangju Biennale (2004).
Her work is represented in the public collections of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery (Buffalo, USA), Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal (Montréal, Canada), Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto, Canada), Art Gallery of Nova Scotia (Halifax, Canada) and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington DC, USA).
