Kenim O is a 24 year-old filmmaker born in NYC, raised in London and from Lagos, Nigeria. Having lived in eight cities, she has spent her life bouncing back and forth between the UK, US, and West Africa.
She began her film career while attending the prestigious Tufts University in Boston. She followed her passion despite the discouraging reactions from her peers and spent her summers in LA interning for the production company Anonymous Content, and renowned Hip-Hop music video directors Chris Robinson and Benny Boom. Kenim O then went on to direct and produce her own music videos and short films during the academic school year. At Tufts she met the forming pop duo Timeflies (recently signed to Island Def Jam Records), who also attended the University. Recognizing their talent, she shot their first ever music video “Cars, Money & Fame” which instantly became a viral success.
