Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership (KRSP) was established in January 2001 in response to the Irish Sports Council's (ISC) Local Sports Partnership initiative.

Mission

We have made it our vision to have more people participating in sport and physical activity in County Kerry. In pursuit of this vision, the KRSP mission is to enable the ongoing development of quality sporting and active recreational opportunities throughout Kerry in an environment that promotes healthy lifestyles, maximum participation and achievement

Description

We encourage, promote and support the people of Kerry to participate in sport and physical acivity. In achieving this mission we place particular focus on communities, older adults, women and girls, people with disabilities, and those who are unemployed.

General Information

The Partnership structure is made up of representatives from a variety of agencies and communities within Kerry, and operates as a sub-structure of the Kerry County Development Board.
