Born in Seattle, married to Laura in 2007, no kids yet. Owner of a yacht detail company. Played in bands during the grunge years, traded dot-com upward mobility for travel mobility to live in Hawaii, Mexico, Honduras and The Bahamas as a Dive Master/ Yachtsman/ Tour guide for much of the 90's. Was a Mate aboard a Harley-Davidson outfitted Mega-yacht for 20,000+ nautical miles.
Graduated 2003 Comparative History of Ideas program at U of W with a thesis of Phenomenology and Embodiment using the works of Merleau-Ponty, Elizabeth Grosz and Alphonso Lingis. Furthered an interest in media production to describe contact with the world as the creation of corporeal plenums of possibility, and becoming "an other for the Other".
From a passion for MTB, I've become a mountain biking advocate though Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, assisting building trails and features for the I-5 Collonade and Duthie Hill Mnt Bike Skills Park and work toward progressing the skills of all riders while fostering responsible use and land stewardship through sustainable MTB recreation.
