Kevin Rashad Guy a.k.a K.G. Tha Yungsta, was born April 1, 1990 in the violent-crime stricken Trinity Gardens area of Mobile, Alabama. Kevin developed a fond interest in Rap & Hip-Hop at the age of twelve when his 7th grade teacher persuaded him to write a rhyme. It took young Kevin about 30 minutes to write the rhyme and on the next day Kevin showed his teacher what he wrote and his teacher praised him for his ability. At first glance, Kevin didn't think much of his work to consider it being a potential profession for himself. But all of that changed when young Kevin heard the likes of 50 Cent, T.I., Lil' Wayne, Andre 3000, & Curren$y. He closly watched the success of his favorite artists and decided it could be a path that he could walk down also. So around the age of 13, young Kevin started writing more rhymes and often rapped them for his classmates to hear. Young Kevin steadily wrote rhymes throughout his years in high school while daydreaming of being a platinum-selling hip-hop artist during his classes. Over time his skills got even better and now K.G. is looking to make it big in the rap industry. Since 2007, he has been working hard on his craft and on his rhymes to one day make it big and live out all those daydreams he had in his high school classes. Kevin is currently attending college while trying to work on his music with fellow friends that share his interest.
