Kimberley Bianca is an intermedia artist integrating poetry, performance, visual art, sound and digital media. Working across these areas she collaborates on projects for theatre, film, live music and events locally and internationally. A practice-led approach enables Kimberley to create diverse intermedia works that celebrate life, expand conventional perception and embrace new forms of expression. Inspired by the inter-connections of our imaginations, social situations and environment, she wishes to encourage fundamental awareness of ecological and social issues.

Growing up in three continents and various cultures has allowed Kimberley to form connections and gather experiences related to these diverse environments. These factors have greatly influenced her art, way of life and philosophical concerns.

After completing technical studies Kimberley undertook ArtStart and NEIS to start her business Azured Vault in multimedia performance solutions. She then commenced her Masters in Arts and Media while taking on festival and public art projects in Sydney, Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Since July 2011 Kimberley has been artist in residence in Europe and North America working on experimental audio-visual art and networked performances.
