Kinetrope is the effort of musician / artist Richard Lewis.

Richard spent most of his childhood moving from city to city across the the United States. It was this life in transition that found him his best childhood friend, the Commodore 64, circa 1983.

Growing up was an exploration of a world struggling between the analog and the digital. Initially Richard studied photography at Syracuse University with film and darkrooms. Later he attended the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles to conform to the demands af the digital domination and recieve a degree in Interactive media design.

Richard has toured the west coast performing live as a member of Seattle based band Voyager One.

In order to pursue a masters degree in graphic design, Richard moved to Miami to attend the Digital Media Arts College.

Kinetrope is his first venture into the unknown of self produced media.
