Kissogram
The two original Berliners Jonas Poppe and Sebastian Dasse have expanded their lineup with drummer Joe Dilworth (ex Stereolab and Add N to [X]) and produced their 3rd album Rubber and Meat along with international Big Shot producer Pelle Gunnerfeldt. Rock'n'Roll, Disco, Velvet Underground, Elektro, Poetry, Schmutz, Drama and Blues. These are the ingredients which makes the Sound of Kissogram so unique, modern and hard to describe: bohemian disco wave (WOZ Zuerich), hungover melancholy electronic pop (NME) or Discosound with sweating rock’n’roll (Tagesspiegel Berlin). Whatever, on tour with Franz Ferdinand in may 2009, people just did not care how the music is called, they had just a great time together.
