But who or what is holding the camera? -
3 days agokkfung commented on The Longest Way 1.0 - one year walk/beard grow time lapseI love the video and the sound tracks.
A technical question: How did you do the chromakey shots? Were you indoors with a green screen as background? How did you set up your camcorder so that your head was exactly in the same position shot after shot. You said you were walking, but you seemed to be sitting on a motor-cycle all the time?
How were the receding on-location backgrounds shot? From the back window of a moving car? Or the camcorder was strapped to the back of your motor cycle? -

2 months agokkfung commented on Missing ThumbnailsMissing thumbnails are everywhere to be seen on vimeos ever since I joined Vimeo a year ago. Just visit any group and you will see plenty of missing thumbnails. At first, I thought the owners must have forgotten to upload any thumbnails. Now that it happens to me, I realize this is systemic problem. Are user-uploaded thumbnails more likely to be missing? The following is a list of my missing thumbnails: http://vimeo.com/3097906 http://vimeo.com/2888569 http://vimeo.com/2536604 http://vimeo.com/2229248 http://vimeo.com/2224294 http://vimeo.com/2119525 http://vimeo.com/1862146 http://vimeo.com/1821583 http://vimeo.com/1806946
