At KU Endowment, we have a passion for helping the University of Kansas achieve its aspirations.
We are the official foundation for raising and managing private funds on behalf of KU. Our motto is "To create a greater university than the state alone can build."
The support of donors helps make KU a world-class institution. State financing covers only about 21 percent of KU's total operating expenses. Therefore, private gifts play a major role in virtually all activities of the university.
