I'm a student at the University of Salford, based in Media City. Currently working on "Route 66a", a feature film and a soon to be started short film.
I'm also a writer, director, editor (the basics on Final Cut Pro), a camera operator (Trained on Panasonic AG-HPX500s and Panasonic AG-HMC151) and a graphic designer.
I love writing most of all. I love being able to be as imaginative as I want, in order to put my world-views down on to paper, and then into visuals. I like playing with audience reactions, expectations and thoughts, in an attempt to spark debate on key themes in my writing. If you would like to read my calling card script, get in touch for a copy. The script is based on the notion of revenge - how far is too far? And it's set against a futuristic backdrop of secretive governments and eugenics.
That being said, I do work freelance. Some of these videos on this channel are projects I've worked on for College coursework (South Leicestershire College), University assignments (The University of Salford) or as a freelance film maker. Other projects I've worked on not shown here include 'Love Online', a short film where I was a runner; 'The Rochdale Pioneers', where I was a 3rd AD, which was aired on Film4, and the Virgin Media Shorts shortlisted film 'The Big Day' as the 1st AD.
In addition, I also presented, produced and worked as editor on my own rock metal and punk radio show; This is Noise on Shock Radio. To listen to old shows, click here: mixcloud.com/tag/this-is-noise/ (Note: Only Shock Radio uploads are the shows I worked on.)
I hope to create a media production company after University in order to create films and music videos.
