Born ten years ago during the late nineties agitation, Kulte is one of the few surviving brands from a golden age when urban and street wear drastically changed fashion codes.

Nowadays in one glance, Kulte is still identifiable by its playful style, its insatiable appetite for spoof and its implacably provocative and sexy dimension.

To wear Kulte means to play on the brand's name, handling creative and excessive commonplaces, full of vintage heroes and fascination (from Russ Myer to Starsky & Hutch to Miami Vice): To be ironical about the ancients nostalgia and to surprise the youngsters! In 2005, both historic founders, natives of Marseilles handed over to a young team which has managed to extend and develop this identity. Into their hands, Kulte remains a testing ground for designers fascinated by yesterday sub-culture influences on nowadays cultures.
