I am an animation artist from Calcutta, a city known for art, culture and afternoon siestas. I did my first Undergraduate degree from the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology (Bangalore) in 2005. In my five and a half years in Srishti, I switched specializations from Graphic Design (2 years) to Furniture Design (3 days!) to Fine Art and New Media (1 year) and finally to Film (a year and a half) before I realized that Animation was my true love!

After graduating I worked as a freelance Animator in India for a year while applying to colleges abroad. That year I recorded my Demo Album titled ‘The Deep Ends’ with friends and senior studio musicians. Then for the love of Animation I packed my bags and transferred to the Animation Program at the Emily Carr Institute, Vancouver BC from where I graduated in May 2008.

After graduation from ECI, I have been working professionally as a freelance Animation/Motion Designer.
