    As a fellow filmmaker who just got invited to come by a mutual friend, seeing this kind of message makes me not really want to come. I've been in the same situation where turnouts aren't as great as you'd expect and hope, but telling people that because they aren't coming to YOUR film = not supporting the film scene in alberta is a little conceited and you come off really arrogant, especially with your last line.

    I know it's hard getting people to come out, but this sends off a really negative message to be honest. I do wish the best of luck though as I know the feeling. You could possibly start preselling tickets to get the hype up, or have some sort of event with it to get people interested.
