I am an Italian Performance Artist based in Berlin.
I studied Performance Art at Goldsmith’s University and Digital Sound Design at Southbank University, London.
I was awarded the director’s prize for best performance of the digital media department, as my graduation project consisted in fusing digital work with a performance art installation at ACT ART 2007.
My approach to my work has always been experimental and is based on the use of the body and the voice, embracing all media.
I am interested in the male body as inseparable part of Nature.
Styling my concepts with the fabrics and objects, I use nudity as the canvas on which express emotions, to evoke thoughts through non-verbal communication.
I explore the relationship between man and nature using rhythm, chanting, fusing ancient practices with electronic music and voice work to induce states of meditation, establishing distilled maps of performance rituals; including cleansing, blessing, death and rebirth: renewal, regeneration. Building these states I aim to transform the art space in ‘Architectures of Sacred Space’ with devised sequences of movements and symbolic gestures.
